Sense in my frame, sense in my poems.

Tell me if it's so,I could be your sweetest agony. But mine,in my frame,I never put our pictures together.

Salam.

You could have guessed reading my poems,

but I am unpredictable. Or less, only you know,if you could correctly tell. (This post is inspired by the compilation of lyrics and a blog I came across earlier, and pieces of my own inspiration.)

I need to study foreign culture, yes. To be able to put in more paprika into my cookings, that is some more flavours to dear ~luna-stella~.

Let's start giving it a try from now on,ok? And don't laugh out loud if I seem a failure, will ya? Giggle, fellow. That's more like it. ^_^ Now,in sequence.

First.

Well I needed three weeks to finally post a continuation to the initiated fiction in Whatever-Luna. Finally this noon I got it up,and passed the ball to my team member. Got each other ruining one another's head. Think so? Why it's good, after all. I once made an attempt to write a story and it went on,almost a novel. And finally I had to give it up for some reasons. Now it's good that I can restart,I'll even have to force myself to be in love with the Oxford dictionary and thesaurus each time my turn comes. Otherwise I won't. And that would be a pity, agree?

Moving on.

It has been a week since she left. And last night I didn't restrain myself from dropping my tears in remembrance of her loving face. I didn't. I miss you,so,and I sometimes regret having the thoughts that there are things you won't get the chance to know about me later on in my life. Totally wrong, ain't it grandma? You will know, just everything. I bet you know this too. I just miss you. The sun shone bright that morning,it's just that I woke up with a frown. The kindergarten kids could run and sing gaily, but I could do nothing more than to give the world an empty gaze the minute you left. But I do understand, grandma,I do. I just miss you.

Three,movies.

They're laughing next door,I don't know just what to say. DVDs aren't properly working on my lappy, wonder what's there more for me to take care about with this dear. Why are you giving me surprises, one after another? Give me a break from this little, trivial matters, would you please, lappy?

Almost there,go read up.

I want this place to be a more opened sphere. What if I put in some stuffs about nature, and what more...well I'll see what is manageable. So far I'm done with reviews, leisure and poems. Life doesn't count, that's daily. My iGoogle is themed with FF XIII that I won't mind spending hours searching for readable stuffs over the net. I get to see Noctis's face each time. Never mind Cloud,he's on the desktop wallpaper.
-hey,I just remembered. A new post label. And...it's done. 'Reviews',check it out. I will add more in another couple of weeks, for ya.

And...one last point to add.

Paradox and oxymoron are to be used even more frequently. Aye,it brings joy to the writer. Yes,joy.

-Failure of CQ to fulfill its duty to play DVDs --> Blog hopping to no end -->Dissatisfaction

And it ain't merry,I still have this feeling inside me. I want to read, whatever that is interesting. Something that can be a subject to tell about with friends side by side.Honestly, help me define 'joy'. And 'company'. I feel the rushing need to type to no end. I feel like going out to Batu Ferringhi and watch the waves come and retreat. I feel like sipping in the breeze and let it fill my lungs. I feel like,

talking to someone about what I want a friend to know,but,sigh...

I feel really lonely even though everyone's around me. And nobody else, whose blood does not rush in my veins can fill the chamber. Nobody. And that's a full stop.

You have a good day,pal.

An Overnight Stay-In Everlasting Memories of You.

All your love, and nothing less,is kept in the deepest side of my heart.

Salam.

He gave me not trivial matters to worry about,He gave me not little matters to fuss about. But losing you,is the biggest, almost unbearable one. It was overwhelming, but your last words keep me going.

I will. I will make it for you.

We were wrong, and He taught me a lesson. And now you will see me where ever I go,those days when our days together were within the count of your fingertips. My deepest regret.

Grandma,my ocean of love lies for you,a bouquet of memories,my greetings from far which I pray would sooth you there, would shower you with all the love I have.

I wish I could tell this to you,but time failed my intentions.

Overnight Stay

God really takes one thing away when He gives you another. If I could choose between my happiness and her life,I would definitely let loose of everything that I grabbed hold of. If I could choose, but He doesn’t give me the privilege to. He chose one for me and the choice He made is the one I prefer least.
Dear Allah,You made her lay down, and You made me hear this thunder when she won’t even hear my whisper. You gave me life and you put hers at stake, and You made me look,
I’m trembling,I can’t feel my knees,the way she can’t feel her hands.
Dear Allah, she won’t hear my mother, she won’t hear me too. How I miss the time when she could laugh-and I would laugh seeing her laughing. But now I’d only cry by her hospital bed, whisper words she can’t hear, whisper Your holy heart of the Quran into her ears-and she won’t even hear it,or would she? Oh grandma,I’m sorry...
Grandpa used to tell me to make her coffee, because she likes my coffee best, apart of everyone else’s. And when I was small I used to ask her to make me a cup of Nescafe, because I like it best,my mother must have learned from her. But now nobody’s going to tell anyone about who loves whose coffee or Nescafe. She has left her mug at home,as I’m packing my bag with my clothes.
Tonight I would lay awake, while she would lay dreaming. I would say I’m sorry, but she wouldn’t say a thing.
I would write her a poem or two, about an overnight stay in the hospital and say that life isn’t too cruel, but she wouldn’t turn to see me,she would just continue to breathe.
Dear grandma,if I had the chance I would say I love you,and that I am sorry,I should have laughed harder with you by my side. I should’ve left my studies, just so I can watch you smile by my side. Grandma, you didn’t know,no better did I,if a couple of days before would be ours to remember for another year or two. I’m grateful I cried on the phone and you didn’t hear me crying,I’m glad that you heard me when I say I love you and you greeted me with all the love you gave my mother.
Grandma, how I’d love to read this to you,how I’d love this one thing to do,
At least let me come into your dream where you’re standing, and hug you and say I love you. I’d say it again and again. I love you. And when it’s time I want my kiss to be on your forehead, the way you had it the last time I saw you.
I’ll be coming back to you,and this time I won’t leave by any forces...but His. Please.
***

Grandma,my dearest, our deepest love-our endless love,I can see no end. For your dedication cost more than any gems under the earth, any stars under the night clouds I gaze at. I prayed He would hold you for just another day and you waited for me. You blew your last breath by my side.

I love you. How I love you.

May He make me come into your dreams, may He send you our memories, may He make you live in me,may He make us everlasting memories.

My last gift as well as yours, will never fade...rain or storm. I swear to Him,you know I love you,He knows just how much we love you...

Dear Allah, the most merciful ruler of the sky that veils us from heat, the most gracious owner of the lands that feed us,pay her kindness for all the love she had held us with all Your blessings,amin...

Bless you.

Light of the Moon.

The land we've travelled so far, sees your life upon my death. I killed my love so you could live.

Salam.

This is a special request made by my best friend Jem. I'll try my best to do a review on the song 'Light of the Moon' by Steve Vai,a guitarist he devotes. Here you go,Mimil! Oops, sorry. That's the cute name. ;) All on board the cable car...

Light Of The Moon
Lyrics by Steve Vai

She never knew how cold it gets
Alone in a city she never will forget
As tears seem to fall like lead
Into his silent and empty bed
They were never meant to be alone
In two cities they never could call home

And all his letters she holds to her breast
So his words she could breathe into herself...And they said...

We could go live in a city down under
Where all the sun shines and people are good
And the melodies flow in rainbows of colors
And we'll dance in the silvery light of the moon
We could be drinking the light of the moon

Without him her days are dark
She can't see the sun rise or even the stars
He stares into her picture frame
Remembering her laughing while running in the rain
And he regrets the things he said
That broke her down the day that she left

But life's too precious to let it slip away
And now her message is clear as a bell...And it says...

We could go live in a city down under
Where all the sun shines and people are good
And the melodies flow in rainbows of colors
And we'll dance in the silvery light of the moon
We could be drinking the light of the moon

Dear readers, for blogging purpose,I'll only prepare a brief review,or it'd be a bore for you. Do tell me if you'd prefer to read the long one. I don't think I'm fit to write one now, aiyak! x_x

-Review Section-

Sung by an inspiring rock guitarist virtuoso Steven Siro Vai,Light of the Moon is a splendour of words with the theme of dejection. A glance over the whole lyric would enchant just anyone reading with its direct yet beautifully arranged words.

Composed with five stanzas, the first contains six lines followed by the second stanza with double lines and the third with five. This pattern repeats itself twice, making the verse a consistent 6-2-5 stanza pattern.

The number of words in a line is of a minimum of six to a maximum of twelve.

Perusing the rows, the song tells about two lovers who go separate ways and weep over the loss of one another. One of the them, described in the song as the man, hurt his lover with his words that she turned away and thus regrets his deeds ever since. However, both remain in two isolated cities alien to both, despite the fact that they were inseparable then. Line 3 to 5 in the first stanza portrays how both are deeply in sorrow for the occurrence and the present life they have to live without each other. 'Tears' signify the woman's desolation while 'lead' stands as a metaphor of the man's sufferings in loneliness. The line gracefully express how one lover's sorrow is the other's agony. The complementing second stanza tells how the woman longs for her lover's promises found in stanza three.

The setting portrays the persona as living in two cities, estranged from each other which resulted from a dead end they met in a dispute.

Adding up to its beauty, the verse contains a significant number of dazzling natural images such as the moon, sun, rainbow and stars;which set the ambient of the story with gleeful atmosphere in the woman's memories and yearnings. A simple metaphor of the bell, symbolizing marriage in stanza 5 puts an end to the story as the women resolves that life is not to be spent regretting over an irreplaceable loss when a new ray of hope comes in her way. The last line shows her determination in opting for the marriage.

To sum up,Light of the Moon captivates my mind with its brilliant lines and alluring music composition that I consider it as one perfectly awe-inspiring song.

-End of Review-

Rediscovering Discoveries.

Now I know you better, and if only I had known you sooner,

Salam.

So off we went on board the bus Wednesday morning, shiny morning indeed,it was. The journey to neighbouring teaching campus IPSAH did not take longer than an hour.

Our camp took three days and two nights. We had a nice breakfast on our way there. Let's go straight to the camping activities, yeah?

The noon was occupied with briefing, preparing our tents, and classes for us Scouts. KRS had their test there,(so I'll have to call them Lt. Muda followed by their name after this. Is it Lt. Muda?) and we had our Kursus Manikayu Peringkat 1,which means that we too,had an advancement in Scouts! We will have 2 wooden beads qualifying our achievement. Looking forward to getting three. And perhaps four, ehem. ;)

That night we learned numerous principles and organization of Scouts and the most exciting part is...songs! They said that we got nothin' better to do 'an singin',but we freakin' like it! Yeah! ;)

We were taught songs so that we will be able to teach them to young schoolkids especially Scouts when we become teachers soon. And it was wonderful,as I myself thought that it was childish, but it turned out to be fun. At least Scouts is where I can be child again. Not to behave like a child, but to let out the energetic, cheerful kid in you. We danced to the tune, hoped around holding each other's shirts, kicked in and out in circles and more, most of the excitements which words alone can't describe!

We walked back to our campsite exhausted with all the hoping stuff, but we lacked some gadgets in our compound,so we stayed up and worked together to construct them and clean the surrounding. I was on duty from 1 am till 2 am. I was real sleepy, just the nee to complete the log book held me back. But not for long. I fell asleep sitting, great that I didn't fall to the ground! This, was seen by fellow Scout Pyan with mouth half opened-for some sense of awkwardness I believe.

Couldn't bear with it so I laid beside Lara on the pieces of garbage plastic bags she had placed earlier. More bags were placed then for two,and that was the time I really got the chance to watch the moon, lying. It was beautiful, even Lara agreed.

We rose early that morning,my alarm tone Starlight woke me up at 5.30 am. Jeez, how chilly it was! I giggled to the tent and reached for my toothbrush. And we had to get dressed with our full uniform for assembly at 7,imagine that plus full bathroom. What, shower? Forget it. And don't say euw,for if you do you must have not gone for camping your entire life! Ah-hah! (We Scouts don't smell awful. We smell good, often. Heck!)

Another day filled with classes till the evening....and we dind't stop there. We had dance practise since we were in charge for Malam Bakat which was to be held that night. Malam Kebudayaan like this one actually was originated from Scouts tradition of having campfires, with the purpose of strengthening the bonds among each other. That will be the night when everyone will come out and perform, the simplest would be songs. It is also meant to increase self confidence as it's the tradition not to perform alone but in groups. I'd like to tell you a few things in addition about Scouts.

With Nadiah,before our dance practise.

Our 'Great Howl',also known as 'Laung Agung' in Malay, was often a matter to laugh about for it sounded funny. No wonder,we did it wrong! We cried out 'pek' in such a funny manner that we ourselves laughed at it. Our 'grrrreat' howl sounded like "pppeekkk..." Hoho. But never mind, not anymore now!

'Pek' is the word we shout to call all the Scout members. The word is actually 'pack' in English, and for a reason,it is actually a call for a pack of wolves. Practically,we Scouts are pack of wolves. Brilliant!

Akela, the leader who shouts 'pek' is the leader of the pack of wolves, and the members will surround him when summoned. Now that I know,it's wonderful, the tradition.

I was a member of the Red Crescent all my secondary school years except in form two. It was frustrating to know that I had to be in Scouts this semester, but the disappointment wasn't for long. Being a Scout is one of the best things in my life. Some of us are considering to carry on with it after the semester, insyaAllah.

The following day's blast was Malam Bakat 1 Malaysia. Everyone did a great job I must say,for the performances were,in a word;marvellous. There were BSMM's skits,KRS's Sumazau dance,Pandu Puteri's variety of the three major races' songs all sung well,Puteri Islam's choral speaking, and our very own Scouts' variety of cultural dance.

Right after the show,we headed back to our campsite-satisfactions on each faces. We prayed together, and this is what I like most,on groundsheets laid on the ground and imagine it,the cool atmosphere was just soothing. It's a rare enjoyment to the soul. After the prayer,we sat in a circle and had a little reflection on our activities. This was whn we got the chance to voice out our say on any good and bad occurences, behaviours and then again,we realized that we have a stronger family bond of TESL 3. Unlike any other units which were joined by seniors,we had only 18 of us (minus 2 in the BSMM) for Scouts. There were no seniors with us. We thought of it as a disadvantage at first, but that night it appeared to be a good thing for us. We were united, and that time it was even better then before.

Getting on,we had a nice chit-chat with a jug of cold drink and neighbours coming over. There were Lan,Qya and Anwar sharing the great time with some riddles to amplify the laughter! Yeah,Pandu Puteri must've hate us real bad, huh. Hehe.

And Teacher Thoyba shared a knowledge so meaningful I'd quote it here.

"If youre interested in someone, just let him/her know that you wish to marry him/her,and that you'd try your best to work for it. Then, never send messages, call em up or see em,other than work purposes. When the time comes, that is the day for you."

Yes,I agree. Work towards it.

That night, again,I wasted the place in our tent for a nice sleep under the skies. And it was worth it,to rise up in the chilly morning.

Dewdrops of your Grace: Life in a poem.

Swing to the rhyme.

Salam,good day!

Poem,poem..! How I've always wished that one day I'd be able to write a poem properly rhymed and this week my friends and I are well served with plenty of poems to study. Well, having read the poems, there were about...14 of them, and how they great poets rhyme their lines,I humbly create this one,my trial of a structured poem. I know it can never be the same with that of Kenneth Slessor's,and that it still lack on the organization of syllables, but it's my excitement to give it a try. Enjoy!

Dewdrops of your Grace.

Into a chest in which I can't fit by your outline
I looked down upon your shivering fingers
Stored your heart secure, away from mine
Six feet deep in mother's warm embrace

Your heartbeat,a rythm of my song
The skies you loved to see when you rise
Is now a stranger to my fingers-did they went wrong
As I touch your once peach-kissed cheeks up to your eyes

But you're lying, and strangely laid down
By your sisters and not by me
Loveless act killed me inside and your gown
Don't even seem seamless to see

Which way,lover,tell me which way
Should I go and take you to leave
This mighty cold metal gate is but an array
As the snow flakes freeze the smile of my darling Eve

Effortless steps on this pavement
Reasonably strange that mine is heard, while yours not
My heart half dead in flooding predicament but,
Allow me to send you off your foot and untie this knot

Take your fatal smile away
But leave your sweet luggage and ribbon with me
Lie down,my dear Eve,angel of my night and day
My resentment, your life will never be
