Redefine.

Salam.

Today's the last day of us facilitating, and helping out for Language Camp 2010. Themed 'English for All and All for English', I would say it really gave us three days of full throttle. Apart of it, I once again got the experience of participating in this once-in-a-lifetime camp for TESLians, this time as a facilitator. Assisting, walking around, observing and playing along spared me a lot to learn about. Waniey my dear friend is a really good Assistant Cohort Leader, from my point of view. Now,spare the Language Camp pal!

I missed blogging for weeks now, and it definitely was killing me not being able to blog. Last posts had been about photography (I was frustrated I didn't have that much amount of bucks to spend for a 'Photography for Dummies' down at Borders, told that to you?) and I've decided that following posts would be bits about happenings and such.

Human Development classes on the other hand revealed a lot, well in fact too much for us to gain enough knowledge on effective approaches to teach schoolchildren, even discovering our selves. As far as I'm concerned, numbers of the lessons made me wonder if I really know myself. People change, and so did I.

I find new sides of myself, parts that won't be a whole, parts that were missing and parts that are, some of those just recently discovered, that I am build 50% an introvert and another 50% the opposite; and lots more. I may need an in depth test for the characteristics part, I know.

Moving around, I wonder a lot. I am a ponderer, I love to spend time alone. Yes, a few days ago I recalled my lecturer's words during our TITAS class, that's when I was in UKM. We have this behavioural pattern of feeling comfortable eating alone, and why? That's because our culture that walks us along this path of life is that one which teaches us values of family bond. We wait for our family members to dine together, very seldom do family members dine separately. This way of life, grows us up depending on company wherever we go. Done, a complete theory.

Then why is the sight of people eating alone or walking alone a very common thing to see?

I wonder.

PhotoHunt IV: Set for the Rainbow.

The Sun will set for you...

Salam.

Well hope you're having your best days of the week! Now that we're almost done with assignments, we're gearing up for the coming exam, which will be in early May.

Phonetics really is a dizzy walk around town, but what's more exciting than photo hunting and blogging, again?

See the rainbow?

These three above are photos of Semarak Api. You'll love its flowers, just awesome.

PhotoHunt III: Lone Weekend PhotoHunting.

I'm never backing down.

Salam.

This weekend-being alone, the usual activity does not even become dull. Photographing. This time, it's in the morning. Oh yes, except for the first photo right below. I took it on Friday noon. It was going to rain and soon after, I got bathed. :D Nice one.

These were taken yesterday morning, as I walked back from buying my favourite breakfast, sandwiches!

My cousins have gone to Bahau and KL last week for interviews, and drove home with great success. They'll be both staying quite a distance from home now, I will miss them for sure. Congratulations, however! Do take good care of yourselves! And I love my parents very much too, including those around me.

Things are resolving into something new. Contradictions do come but they will leave, sooner or later. Perhaps this isn't that bad actually. Nope, it isn't. Some may see it the good way, while some others may not. I see it that He's sending me a blessing through this predicaments. He opens up a whole new point of view for me to look out the window. I'm no longer in a cocoon. I don't easily cry any longer. I'm a growing wind glider. I do not run away, I flip my wings and I fly against the wind-rain or storm. Throw me your gazes but I know what I'm doing, I know myself best.

And I'm doing good. I'm doing good. Safe and sound.

My warm regards and best wishes.

PhotoHunt Part II: Catch the Rain.

If my eyes could see as far as it could possibly not, I would go over the mountains; I would paint the edges of the skies over its peaks.

Salam.

Enjoying this tranquility after yet the never ending drowsiness the remaining hours had spared us with. Evenings are now spent walking around campus under the sun; if should it be sunny; and under the rain, be it raining. Either one is great for photo hunting, both actually. So April 2nd gave a splashy hit for us, while as for me, being a fan; being soaked makes only one third of the experience. The rest was pure excitement. The scene thus can be seen quite gloomy here in these pictures, for they were taken either before or after the rain. Enjoy!

These are the pictures I captured yesterday with my mate, this time only around the **l****a** compound. (my campus pals, figure it out!)

p/s: If i spelled it correctly, by the way. The spelling has always confusd me from the day I entered.

So this week I discovered a new pastime, going around campus capturing photos. Photography has always been my interest since small, for my father himself has a deep passion in it. I am much delighted to say that his collection of cameras includes those types this new gen-Y hunters have never seen; those antics, of which he collected and treasured very much, including his own SLRs and accessory filters. His interest, however, is not limited to only keeping them as collections, but it went to the extent of possessing the ability to repair them. And seeing him capture photos somewhat attracted me into indulging the very same leisure.

Still learning, that is, I used to have two cameras of my own (remember those manual ones that you need to load in filmstrip into it?) Yes,one which requires the owner to 'creak' change its film exposure each time when taking pictures and few years later, one silver Fujifilm which automatically strips in new exposures each time when you take pictures.) I got the Fujifilm for my UPSR results, it costed around 300 bucks.

Yeah, cameras were of such prices back then. But though its price might not even equal our mobile phones these days, it were; to me, the greatest price of love from my parents who discovered my dedication for photography at such a young age of twelve. And the camera made a huge part of my learning with my father's guidance.

It's still with me back home, even if it got replaced. Nope, not a cube of a digital camera or any sort, let alone a SLR or DSLR. I do not have it in mind, the one I'm sharing possessions with father is enough. But I am happy with it. Just happy. I am happy being who I am, too.

Yes I am happy to be who I am, who I once was. Unburdened for no reasons that doesn't even make sense.

Things around me have changed my view. Good day.
